Join us for a dedicated two-hour exploration of the human figure in a warm, supportive studio environment. This class focuses on the art of seeing, guiding you through quick gesture sketches and longer, sustained poses. Whether you are a beginner learning proportions or an experienced artist refining your observation skills, you'll find a relaxed space to create, connect, and enjoy a BYO drink by the fire.

Learn to capture life through line.

Please bring your preferred dry media or wet materials to the shed.

If you are a new student, here is a suggested kit for your first session:

Graphite pencils (2B, 4B, 6B)
Charcoal sticks or willow charcoal
Kneadable eraser
Sharpener or craft knife
A3 or A2 Sketchpad (110gsm+)
Bulldog clips

Drawing boards are provided.

Voices from the Studio

"Before joining Liz's classes, I would have told you that I couldn't draw, but she has completely changed the way I see myself as an artist, making art feel accessible and achievable. She has encouraged me to stop comparing myself to what I used to call 'real artists' and instead discover my own unique creative voice.

Liz's classes, held in her beautiful Art Shed, are welcoming and genuinely supportive. She has created a space where beginners and experienced artists alike feel inspired, encouraged, and free to grow. I can't recommend her highly enough"
